Repair shops often create large, detailed work orders or estimates for customer repairs or insurance claims. These work orders may include multiple service items and parts that sometimes need to be split, especially when insurance only covers part of the work.

Instead of recreating everything from scratch or manually editing the original, you can duplicate a service in just a few clicks.

When to Use This

  • To split work between insurance-covered items and customer-paid items.

  • To reuse a complex work order or estimate for similar future jobs.

  • To adjust parts, services, or pricing while keeping the original.

How to Duplicate a Service

1️⃣ Go to the Services Tab
Open the Services section and find the Service or Estimate you want to duplicate.

2️⃣ Click the Three Dots
On the right side of the service row, click the three-dot menu.

3️⃣ Select ‘Duplicate’
Click Duplicate from the dropdown menu.

4️⃣ Choose Your Duplicate Option
You’ll see three options:

  • Full Copy — Create a complete copy of the existing Service or Estimate.

  • Save Inventory — Duplicate the Service as an Estimate while saving your parts stock levels.

  • Custom — Choose exactly which parts and services to duplicate (ideal for partially covered insurance jobs or non-tracked items).

5️⃣ Complete & Save
After choosing your option, review the duplicated Service/Estimate, make any needed edits, and click Duplicate.

⚡️ Pro Tip

Duplicating helps reduce manual entry errors and saves valuable time, especially for insurance claims that change often.

That’s it!
Your duplicate Service is ready to adjust, invoice, or assign as needed.
