What Goes to the Returns Page?
Parts automatically appear in Returns when:
A special order part (not stocked in inventory) is removed from a work order
A returnable core is removed
A work order is deleted with parts in it
Inventory items stay in stock β only special orders or cores go to Returns
How to Use the Returns Page
Go to the Returns Page
Review Items Waiting to Be Processed
Youβll see a list of special order parts or cores removed from work orders
Each item will include details like part number, vendor, quantity, and cost
Choose What to Do with Each Item:
β Add to Stock
If you want to keep the part and use it later
Updates your inventory count
β»οΈ Return to Vendor
If the part or core is being physically returned to the vendor
Tracks it as a returned item and removes it from your system
π Trash
If the part is damaged, incorrect, or not worth keeping
Disposes of the item with no inventory impact

Special Orders are tracked separately to avoid unwanted stock buildup
Returnable cores will automatically show here if tagged as returnable
Be sure to process items promptly to keep inventory and billing accurate
