✅ Option 1: Assign When Creating the New Service
When creating a new service, look for the Lead Technician field.
Select the tech from your employee list.
If they’re not listed, add them under Settings → Users first.
Finish creating the new service — the mechanic is now assigned.
✅ Option 2: Assign to an Existing Work Order
Go to the Services tab.
Click the service you want.
Click the Technician section.
Add the tech you want, and click Assign.
🗂️ Where It Shows
The assigned mechanic’s name appears on the service.
Their time and tasks track automatically on time sheets and invoices.
To unassign the tech, click their name and click Unassign.
✅ Done!
Your work order now has the right mechanic or tech assigned.
