Step 1: Go to the Users Page
Click your name or profile icon in the top right.
Go to System → Users under Settings.
Step 2: Click ‘Invite User’
Click the blue + Invite User button.
This will open the Add New User form.
Step 3: Fill Out User Info
Enter the new user’s Name and E-mail Address.
Select their Role from the dropdown. Common roles include:
Mechanic – For techs doing the work.
Parts Manager – For managing inventory and POs.
Service Manager – For overseeing jobs and scheduling.
Office Worker – For billing, invoices, or admin work.
Owner – Full access to all settings and features.
You can assign different permissions manually after selecting the role, if needed.
Step 4: Set Permissions
Expand each section (Services, Parts, Customers, Invoices, Admin) to set what the user can access or edit.
Make sure the permissions match what this person should be able to do.
Step 5: Save & Send Invite
Click Save.
The new user will get an email invite with instructions to set up their EasyTruckShop account.
