π§ Step 1: Go to Labor Rates Settings
Click your profile name in the top-right corner
Select Settings from the dropdown
Go to the Labor Rates tab
Click Add Labor Rate to create a new labor rate
βοΈ Step 2: Create a New Labor Rate
When creating a new labor rate, youβll be able to set:
Name (e.g., Standard Rate, Fleet Rate, Weekend Rate)
Hourly Rate (e.g., After Hours Rate, $200/hr)
Optional: By selecting the 'Make Default' slider, this becomes the Default Labor Rate for you shop
Click Create when finished.
βοΈ How Labor Rates Are Used
Once created, labor rates can be applied in a few ways:
π 1. On Individual Services (Invoicing Stage)
You can change the labor rate per service while invoicing
This gives you flexibility to adjust pricing based on job type, time, or technician skill
π’ 2. Assign Labor Rates to a Company
Go to the Customers tab
Select the company you want to assign a labor rate to
Click Edit, and assign a default labor rate to that company
This ensures all services created for that customer automatically use the correct rate
π Why Use Multiple Labor Rates?
Using labor rates helps you:
Stay consistent with different pricing agreements
Speed up invoicing by auto-applying rates
Charge fairly based on job type, customer, or urgency
