Setting Due Dates and Schedule Dates

Overview

You can now set both Due Dates and Schedule Dates for work orders, giving you better control over workflow management and customer expectations.

How to Use

Setting Dates

  1. Open any work order (new or existing)

  2. Look for the Due Date and Schedule Date fields

  3. Click the calendar icon to select dates

  4. Save the work order

What's the Difference?

  • Schedule Date: When work is planned to begin

  • Due Date: When work must be completed

Where Dates Appear

  • Work order header

  • Priority Board

  • Work order lists and reports

  • Customer communications

Tips

  • Set Schedule Date when booking the appointment

  • Set Due Date based on promised completion time
