Q: Why does my part cost look wrong?

  • Double-check that you’re receiving parts through a PO with the correct unit cost.

  • Manual adjustments won’t recalculate WAC (only POs and bulk Correct Stock do)

Q: Can I manually change the WAC?

  • Yes, but it is a process. WAC updates automatically each time you receive new stock.

  • If you need to adjust it, change the purchase cost on your next PO or do a manual inventory adjustment with the updated cost through the Correct Stock tab (not recommended often).

Q: Why does my sales price not match the WAC?

  • The sales price depends on your Price Matrix or Cost Floor, not the WAC alone.

  • Double-check your markup rules under Part Settings to ensure they’re correct.

Q: How do I check a part’s WAC?

  • Go to the Parts tab, find the part, and open its details.

  • The Weighted Average Cost is shown in the part’s Inventory Info.

Troubleshooting Tip:
If your WAC seems off, review your PO history for that part (make sure all costs and quantities were entered correctly)
