What Is the Priority Board?

The Priority Board is your shop's dispatch and assignment hub. It gives you a real-time view of all unassigned and in-progress work orders so you can quickly assign jobs to technicians, track what's being worked on, and keep your shop floor moving.

How to access it: From the main menu, click Services, then select the Priority Board tab at the top of the screen.

What you'll see:

  • All unassigned work orders on the left, ready to be dragged or assigned to a technician

  • Active work orders organized by technician column so you can see each person's current workload at a glance

  • Unit numbers, service descriptions, and status indicators on each card

The Priority Board works best when technicians are keeping their service statuses current and due dates are set on work orders β€” this is what lets you see at a glance what's on track and what needs attention.
At a Glance, Whats New?

Quick Filters & Search

  • Apply quick filters to narrow down work (helpful for Fleets, Day/Night/Weekend Shifts)

  • Search units or services numbers directly from the board!

Improved Visual Design

  • Clearer visual separation between unassigned items and search functionality

  • The buttons on the Priority Board now feature updated colors for improved visibility and easier navigation throughout the interface.

Enhanced Unassigned Items Section

The unassigned items area has been redesigned to provide a clearer, more intuitive experience. The visual distinction between the unassigned items list and the search functionality is now more apparent, making it easier to understand which section you're working in.

Search with Text Highlighting

When you search for unassigned items, your search terms are now highlighted in the results. This makes it faster to locate specific work orders and verify you've found the right item.

Removed Manual Reordering

The ability to manually change the order of items in the unassigned elements section has been removed. This streamlines the interface and focuses on the most efficient workflows for assigning work.

How This Helps You

These updates are designed to make the Priority Board faster and easier to use:

  • Find specific work orders more quickly with search highlighting

  • Track your selections with the item counter

  • Navigate more easily with improved visual clarity

  • Focus on assigning work rather than organizing unassigned items
